Description
Janus Technology’s RTI Rako driver allows you to control a wired or wireless Rako lighting system from an RTI controller, via Ethernet. Simply ensure your Rako system’s Ethernet bridge is connected to the same network as the RTI processor and you’re ready to go. Touch panel control of Rako dimmers, relays and blinds not only provides the user with “armchair” control of their lighting, but also allows an RTI macro to initiate lighting moods (for example, “Watch a Movie” can dim the lights in addition to switching on the home cinema, with a single button press). Scene status feedback provides status information to the buttons on your panel, and also allows events in Rako to trigger macros in RTI, effectively allowing Rako keypad buttons to control anything in the RTI system. Additional support for Holiday Mode and Rako macros, makes this the most complete driver on the market for RTI-Rako integration.
NEW IN V1.03 – CURRENT ROOM CONTROL! This new feature allows the programmer to specify a room number to be controlled and then send channel specific commands to control lights, blinds and scenes. This means there’s no longer a need to create multiple pages on your RTI remote or panel app, simply create one control page and then dynamically display lighting controls based on the currently selected room!
How does it work?
An XP series processor communicates with a Rako Ethernet bridge via the network, using a clever combination of HTTP and UDP. The following features are supported:
- Full control of dimmable and non-dimmable lighting devices.
- Control of motorization devices such as blinds and curtains.
- Full control of Rako’s in-built Holiday Mode.
- Discreet selection of Rako macros.
- Scene status feedback (allowing events in the Rako system to trigger macros in RTI).
The driver comes packaged with a demonstration panel design, enabling easy integration and testing with your existing system.
