Texecom Premier Elite driver for Elan g!

Providing both Ethernet and Serial control, this is an Elan g! driver for Texecom Premier Elite series alarm systems.  A discovery mechanism pulls all relevant configuration information from the Texecom system, including partition and zone names, doing most of the hard work for the installer.  There’s full support for arming and disarming security zones from the g! interface, with feedback of the current status.  Auto arming via the event mapper is supported, as is zone bypass (which is detected as part of the discovery process).  There’s also support for g!’s History Viewer, allowing the user to view a detailed history of security events.  Users will love the convenience of handheld control and monitoring of their alarm system, and will delight in waving goodbye to white plastic, wall-mounted control panels.

How does it work?

The driver communicates with the Texecom system via a PC-Com or IP-Com interface device (depending on the chosen communication method), which must be installed by the Texecom engineer.
