This is a driver to allow a Control4 system to send push notifications to the iOS app Prowl, or the Android app Notifiy My Android. Simply sign up for either service and start sending notifications to your mobile device, triggered by events in Control4. Want to know if your front door is opened while you’re out? Or if a security light is triggered? Are the kids still watching TV at midnight? Has the heating system developed a fault? There really is no end to the usefulness of this driver….
How does it work?
Once registered, generate an API key on the Prowl or Notify My Android website and enter this into the driver properties. You can then set up notifications for almost any event in the Control4 system. The following features are supported:
- Push notifications to either Android or iOS devices.
- Easy integration with your existing Control4 scripts.
Do I need any additional hardware for to use this driver?
No hardware is required in addition to your Control4 processor. All you need is an account with either Prowl or Notifiy My Android and access to the Internet.
How do you tailor the license for my specific Home Controller?
During the checkout process you will be asked to enter the MAC address of your Home Controller, so be sure to have it to hand.
