An RTI driver for Mode Lighting eDIN systems.

SKU: JD000076 Categories: , ,

Integrating RTI with the ever-popular Mode Lighting eDIN system just got easier thanks to this new driver from Janus Technology.  RTI connects to the Mode system over the network by incorporating an eDIN NPU (network processing unit).  Modular lighting systems have a tendency to expand over time, so the driver employs similar functionality; by simply increasing the number of lighting modules in the driver properties, discrete commands and variables are automatically added into the driver, making system expansion simple. Enjoy full two-way control of I/O devices, relays and dimmers with accurate level control and excellent dimming functionality.  Discrete scene selection and control is supported, with save and recall functionality from the RTI interface, enabling the end user to adjust scenes at their leisure.  Finally, support for DMX lighting modules completes the package, with discrete colour select commands, as well as control over fade times and brightness.

How does it work?

The driver communicates with the eDIN NPU via telnet.  Each lighting device in the Mode system has a unique address, which the driver uses to route commands and obtain feedback.  The following features are supported:

  • Full two-way control of dimmable and non dimmable lighting devices.
  • Discrete selection of lighting scenes.
  • Support for DMX lighting.

The driver comes packaged with a demonstration RTI panel design, enabling easy integration and testing with your existing system.
