This driver allows a Carlo Gavazzi building management system to be controlled from an RTI control system, via Ethernet. This is a bespoke driver, built from your Carlo Gavazzi project file, which provides excellent two way control of Carlo Gavazzi systems with support for most major functions, including lights, blinds and HVAC. Optional polling allows you to specify which devices report their status to RTI and how often, saving system resources and boosting performance. In-built support for Carlo Gavazzi “sequences” makes for great integration between the two systems, and no need to build additional macros in RTI to mimic existing functionality in the BMS. A clever “Set Current Zone” feature allows the programmer to create a single control page and dynamically display only those controls pertinent to the zone selected. This makes programming a doddle, with no need to build pages and pages full of zone-specific controls.
Systems based around the new SH2WEB24 controller and those using the older BH8-CTRLX-230 controller are both supported. An Auto Driver Generation feature allows you to upload your Carlo Gavazzi SHWeb or SCC project file and instantly receive your custom built RTI driver.
How does it work?
Your Carlo Gavazzi project file is used to create a tailor-made driver for RTI, with all your device/function names pre-configured and an RTI Panel app ready for you to configure. Simply ensure your controller is connected to same network as your RTI processor and you’re ready to go! The following main features are supported:
- Two-way feedback of system status.
- “Current Zone” functionality.
- Optional polling.
- Auto-generation of bespoke driver file.
