Charging your electric vehicle should be as simple as saying "charge my car". Working with Schumacher Electric to integrate their EV chargers with Alexa and Google Home voice services, we want to revolutionise the way end-users charge and monitor their electric vehicles.

The Brief

The aim of this collaboration was to ensure Schumacher customers were able to use Alexa or Google Home to start or stop charging their EV, monitor the charging status and schedule sessions from anywhere in the world using voice commands and seamlessly integrate the EV charger with other smart home devices, such as Control4, for enhanced automation and energy management.

The Application

Working closely with Schumacher we assisted in the development and integration with Alexa and Google Home. This was achieved by:
