The right level of control for each home
Not every project needs a complete BMS. In some homes, a focused integration is the best answer. We have developed driver-only solutions for Heatmiser and CoolMaster that use the smart home control system to interlock heating and cooling, giving clients coordinated operation without adding a more extensive building management system.
At the other end of the range, JBC can deliver a complete BMS with comprehensive plant room control, system monitoring and fault alarming. This gives the project team detailed visibility of how the building services are performing and a coordinated way to manage the equipment behind the scenes. Where the brief calls for a particularly refined in-room experience, luxury thermostats by Polar Bear Design can provide intuitive control that feels at home in a high-end interior.
Between those approaches is room to tailor the solution. We look at the property, its mechanical systems, the wider smart home platform, the client’s priorities and the available budget. Our depth of experience helps us choose the level of control that will deliver the most value, without specifying complexity for its own sake.
