Seamless Integration of TTLock with Control4 Smart Home Systems

TTLock, a leading provider of smart lock solutions, partnered with us to integrate their innovative lock technology with Control4. We facilitated the integration, including set up of an AWS cloud service to connect TTLock's cloud with Control4 to enhance convenience and security for homeowners.

The Application

We spearheaded the integration of TTLock smart lock technology with Control4, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality, by focusing on key components of the solution, such as implementing the necessary APIs and protocols to integrate TTLocak with Control4 systems, establishing an AWS serice to bridge communication between TLock’s cloud and Control4. We also needed to ensure that Control4 recognised and interact with TTLock devices, enabling centralised control.

When implementing the solution it included the following steps:

  • TTLock Integration:
      • Developing custom APIs and protocols to allow TTLock devices to communicate with Control4.
      • Ensuring compatibility and security standards were met.
  • AWS Cloud Service Setup:
      • Setting up an AWS cloud service to facilitate communication between TTLock’s cloud and Control4.
      • Developing Lambda functions and API Gateway endpoints to handle data exchange securely.
  • Control4 Integration:
      • Configuring Control4 to recognize TTLock devices and enable seamless integration with other smart home components.
      • Testing the integration thoroughly to ensure reliability and security.
