Faron Brown
Faron is Test Engineer for Janus Technology who implements and executes test plans for their deliverables.
As a QA Engineer, I implement and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of our deliverables. I will work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects, isolate unforeseen problems and recommend any fixes. Being able to write and implement our drivers on a few select sites allows me to experience any issues that can only be found in the field and improve our test strategies, I work on the ethos that an issue found in the field, is an issue that could/should have been found in test. We have many exciting projects all with unique challenges that keep me on my toes. With Crestron bringing out new SDKs for their Crestron home platform, it’s exciting to see how this market will grow, and the drivers we will produce in this area. I have a great eye for detail and being able to use this to ensure that end-users and installers can seamlessly use our solutions make me proud.
Outside of work I’m found playing World of Warcraft. You might also find me going to restaurants for the taster menus as I’m a real foodie. But saying that you really can’t beat a bit of fried chicken.
