Description

A driver providing two way control of all three current models of Triax HDMI matrix switch from a Control4 system, via either RS232 or TCP/IP.  Fast and reliable switching of inputs and outputs improves the user experience and robust feedback of the current configuration makes for accurate, tidy programming and guaranteed synchronisation between systems.  There is additional support for the storage and subsequent recall of preset matrix configurations, as well as a host of other configuration commands.

How does it work?

The Control4 processor communicates with the matrix via one of its RS232 I/O ports, or directly via the network.  Very little configuration is required.  The following features are supported:

• Fast, accurate switching
• Feedback of current status
• Discrete power control
• Storage & recall of Presets

Is an interface device required for the two systems to communicate?

No, the Control4 system communicates with the matrix via a standard serial cable, or via the network, so no additional hardware is needed.
